I decided to invent this Protein Porridge, but with a catch – it’s nut free and made with fruit!

Packed full of protein, calcium, flavonoids, antioxidants and minerals it’s the perfect pick me up for when you’re feeling ill, tired, suffering from sore muscles or just in need of a big ooey gooey warm stodgy hug!

Tahini contains 20% complete protein, which is a higher protein source than most nuts, making this perfect for a post workout snack.



2 Bananas

1 Pear - pealed

1 Peach – pealed

4 Strawberries - destalked

2 Tablespoons Tahini

1/2 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

2 Tablespoons Raw Hemp & Pea Protein

1 Square 90% Dark Chocolate (10g) (or 1 Tablespoon raw Cacao Powder

1 Tablespoon raw Honey


A handful of your favourite berries – fresh or frozen

A handful of grain free granola, some chopped nuts and seeds or Shelled Hemp Seeds

  1. Place all the ingredients - except for the protein powder, cinnamon and tahini – into a food processor
  2. Blend well
  3. Stir in the tahini and cinnamon and mix thoroughly
  4. Heat on the stove on a low heat until slightly bubbling. Ensure that you stir from time to time.
  5. Add in the protein powder, stirring thoroughly.
  6. Mash the fruit down until you have a porridge like consistency and combine with the porridge.
  7. Mix well
  8. Decant into a bowl
  9. Add your chosen toppings
