Adding protein powder into these little snacks / desserts is a great way to sneak in an extra little bit of protein. If you’re struggling to hit your protein goals for the day, then this could be a way for you to up your protein and omega quota .. and enjoy doing so!
1/2 Cup traditional Oats
1/3 Cup Cashew Nuts (soak overnight)
1/2 Cup Almonds (soak overnight)
1 Scoop Hemptons Hemp Protein Powder
4 Tablespoons Brown Rice Syrup
3 Tablespoons Cacao Powder
2 Tablespoons Hemptons Shelled Hemp Seeds
A Handful Goji Berries
Drain the nuts and place in a food processor, together with the oats and pulse until a 'crumbly' look starts to form.
Next, add in the protein powder, brown rice syrup, cacao powder and shelled hemp seeds and blend until everything is fully combined.
Finally, pour in the goji berries and blend the mixture again for a few seconds, just so they are evenly distributed.
Transfer the mixture into a baking dish/container and firmly press down so that everything is nicely compact. Leave the brownies in the freezer for at least an hour to set.
Slice into portions and enjoy!
