Maca Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls


Servings : 16 Balls

These sweet little no-bake balls taste just like chocolate chip cookie dough! Enjoy for a sweet treat or energizing snack any time of day.



150g Raw Cashew Nuts

280g Soft, pitted Medjool Dates – if you are using dry dates, soak overnight – start with warm water*

4 Tablespoons (30g) Maca Powder

1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt

1/3 Cup (60g) Dark Chocolate Chips

1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda



If you used dry dates – drain the dates – set aside the water as you may need some.

Place the cashew nuts into a high-powered blender or food processor and mix until broken down. A few larger chunks left behind is ok but it should resemble a coarse flour.

Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the chocolate chips and mix until it forms a thick, sticky dough that you can easily press together between your fingers.

If it’s not coming together, add 1 teaspoon date water and process again. That should do the trick but you may need to repeat.

Add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times to mix through.

Use your hands to roll the dough into 16 balls.

Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


*It’s important to use soft, moist dates as they bind the recipe
