Hemp Protein Cocoa Raspberry Cream Flapjacks

Quick simple healthy chocolate waffles with a delicious naturally sweetened dairy-free raspberry cream. Perfect pancakes for brunch. Light and fluffy filled with protein and healthy fats to fuel you for the day.

Ingredients
  

  • Flapjacks
  • 1/4 Cup Arrowroot Starch 1oz
  • 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder 1oz
  • 6 Tablespoons Hemp Flour 1 1/2oz
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 8-10 Drops Liquid Stevia
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil Liquid (1/2oz)
  • 1/2 Cup Hemp Milk 4oz
  • 2 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Raspberry Cream
  • 1 Medium Banana
  • 1/2 Cup Raspberries
  • 4-5 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

Instructions
 

  • Flapjacks
  • Add the hemp milk and apple cider vinegar together in a jug and set aside for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Place all the dry ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together.
  • Add all the wet ingredients and the egg into a bowl and blend together.
  • Next, add in the coconut milk and apple cider vinegar mixture – which will have curdled.
  • Continue to stir.
  • Make a well in the dry ingredients and mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients to create a pancake consistency batter.
  • Add some coconut oil to a pan and heat over a medium heat.
  • Scoop a tablespoon of batter and drizzle onto the pan once heated. Spread into a flapjack size with the back of the spoon.
  • When bubbles start forming, flip the flapjack over to cook on the other side.
  • Raspberry Cream
  • Place all the ingredients into a blender.
  • Blend until creamy.
  • Scoop cream onto your flapjacks
