Apple Cinnamon Granola (Nut Free)

Nutrient rich and easy to digest. This cereal is a good fuel option a few hours before a workout.
Course Breakfast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Oats not instant
  • 1/2 Cup Hemp Protein
  • 1/2 Cup Salba
  • 1 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 Whole Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Apple – Diced
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Stevia
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Hemp Seed Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons Apple Juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 120 ̊C.
  • Line a baking tray with waxed paper – lightly oil the paper
  • Mix all the dry ingredients together
  • Blend the liquid ingredients until you have a smooth texture
  • Add the liquid ingredients to the dry
  • Mix well until the dry ingredients are evenly coated
  • Spread on the covered baking tray
  • Bake for 1 hour
  • Let cool and then break up into small clusters

Notes

We are baking this mixture at a lower heat to preserve the Essential Fatty Acids in the hemp and salba.
