Cherry Chocolate Buckwheat Porridge

  • 2 Cup Raw Buckwheat Groats
  • 1 1/2 Cup Frozen Cherries
  • 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Almond Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 2-4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup or raw Honey


  • Cover the buckwheat with water and soak overnight.
  • Strain and rinse thoroughly.
  • Add the buckwheat, cherries, Cacao, Almond Butter, Cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of Maple Syrup/Honey to a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  • Taste and add more Maple Syrup or Honey to desired level of sweetness.
