Overnight Oats with Coconut and Ginger

A delicious overnight oats recipe with a combination of coconut and ginger to start your day! Overnight oats are a staple in any raw food plant-based diet, but many of us enjoy it for its simplicity. We also love this raw oatmeal recipe because it’s pretty much ready to go when we wake up in the morning, and unlike hot oatmeal, you can take this with you and eat it when you’re on the go.

Servings 1 Serving


  • 1 Cup of Rolled Oats Not Instant
  • 1 Cup of Unflavoured Natural Yogurt – with live probiotics Dairy free if you’re lactose intolerant
  • 1 Tablespoons of Dried Coconut flakes or desiccated
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Grated Fresh Ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons of Berries
  • Small Handful of Chopped Almonds


  • The night before, add oats, coconut and yogurt to a bowl.
  • Stir well until completed mixed.
  • Place in fridge overnight.
  • In the morning at breakfast, remove the bowl from the fridge and stir (add another tablespoon of yogurt if you prefer).
  • Add berries & almonds.
